We are a new network, initiated through a meeting of minds at this year’s Congress in Halifax, June 2003. Our mandate is to provide a meeting point for individuals who which to engage in discussion and exchange information with others who hold similar research interests. We invite scholars working in related fields, including nationalism and race and ethnic studies, social movements, and other forms of collective action, to join our group and help establish the contours of our intellectual interchange.
