Review of Policy Research

The Review of Policy Research (RPR) is accepting individual manuscript submissions. RPR is an official journal of the Policy Studies Organization published by Blackwell. In general, RPR considers manuscripts up to 12,000 words in length.

The Review of Policy Research (RPR) is an international peer-reviewed journal devoted to the publication of research and analysis examining the politics and policy of science and technology. These may include issues of science policy, environment, resource management, information networks, cultural industries, biotechnology, security and surveillance, privacy, globalization, education, research and innovation, development, intellectual property, health, and demographics. The journal encompasses research and analysis on politics and the outcomes and consequences of policy change in domestic and comparative contexts.

RPR has established itself among the most accomplished individuals and organizations in the field.

The journal is officially co-sponsored by the Science, Technology, and Environmental Politics organized section of the American Political Science Association (APSA) and the Communication, Culture & Technology program at Georgetown University.
An international editorial board and a Georgetown University advisory board comprised of a prominent set of scholars and policy practitioners.
The Policy Studies Organization, an affiliate of APSA, is the official host of the journal.
The audience for RPR comprises members of the academic community, as well as members of the policy community, including government officials, NGOs and advocacy groups, research institutes, and policy analysts.

Papers will receive wide visibility and readership through Blackwell Synergy, the online journal system that is accessed and read globally by millions of readers (and favored by librarians as it is counter-compliant).

RPR will work to obtain a quick turnaround for publication of all manuscripts.
